NASTY NASH IS BACK -
NEW UPDATE!!!!!!!!
I have spoken to Michael and he's
excited to be back working on his dream race car and is
hoping to have it up and running by Warwick!
Motor is in the chassis and plumbing fuel and oil lines are
the job at hand. Ron Lummus chassis pro-bug will be
powered by a all-motor combo (autocraft). Here is a

US BUILT TURBO MOTOR
A Qld VW enthusiast is currently
having a 2442 turbo /efi engine built by well known vw turbo
specialist in the US - Marty Staggs. Although there
are lots to do to prepare the car for the new engine, the
owner is hoping to have it at Warwick (worst case in static
display if time/money fall short!). Motor when arrives
should be a turned key deal (ran in, tuned, dynoed).
Vw drag racing in this country
looks like its stepping up to a new level. The owner Alan
Algik is very enthusiastic and dosen't do anything by
halves. Latest report - cam has been chosen and bottom
end assembly begins!

HOT ROD SHOW -
3-5 MAY 08 (RNA Showgrounds)
Dak-a-tak racing had a fine
surprise at the end of the event with winning 3 trophies
overall - best competition engine, best competition sedan,
top competition overall. Just like to thank all my vw
mates that helped with the car over the years (wife too)!
Our display this year come up
really well and I think the warwick event got some good
promotional value from the weekend. Check photos in
